Annual Bushies vs Police – Cricket Match
The Harts Range Amateur Race Club Inc is more than just a horse race committee.
Through the year the club’s members’ get together for other activities:
Annual Cricket Match
Between the local Police and the local Pastoralists (held in May each year).
Held in October/November for our membership and the residents of the wider Harts
Range district, held in various locations depending on weather- Police Station grounds,
the Race Course grounds or at a venue in Alice Springs. If held in Alice then we combine
it with a ‘thank you drinks evening’ for our sponsors.
The Harts Range Amateur Race Club has been lucky enough to be in the position to
give back to the community in a number of ways.
We provide a canteen that has been utilised by the Isolated Children’s Parent’s
Association Alice Springs branch for many years now, as their major fundraiser.
